Not gonna say that lately I have not time to hang out in channels chatting with people or playing tournaments and ladder because I was always able to make room for things that satisfy me. It's just that for the past month or so I don't feel the need to log on battle.net and do stuff you do there nor I am quite interested whats going on.
Still, I visit Replayers once in two days to see if there is any activity in there. The website is fixed and that is good thing to see but it seems like the whole website is not active at all. And that tone that goes around its giving the shapes that the website had few years ago when guy called Jammeh was on the hierarchy as the head administrator. DeathWing is surely a nice dude and a dear friend of mine but he seriously has no charm nor spirit to run a website like ZeN or hArd_killah did it in the past. I would seriously like to see Rocafella being on that position to bring back that charming spirit that Replayers had but lost during the last year.
Another funny stuff is that there is some sort of relation with Clan NS tournaments and Replayers for the past few weeks. As far as I understood, Tibco, the Clan NS leader and the guy who is in charge or running tournaments accepted to run cups for DeathWing called Replayers cups. Not gonna say if this is good or bad just gonna say that I am a bit surprised and that this relation of two of them reminds me of relation with hb.thespecial and RainyMonday so its a bit funny.
As for trollarena and hb.thespecial there everything seems to be the same. I feel a bit sad for this dude who didn't have a free and relaxing weekend for more than a year. Always volunteering and putting so much effort to leave a mark in this small but dear community. Every Saturday he is there, hosting and observing the games for some event or chatting whole day with cyber mates and on Sunday he is doing the same. Get some break for Gods sake!
As for the players I saw RapiNG winning every single tournament, mostly due to lack of real competition. Still, these achievements are not small and insignificant so good job for him.
Gonna go back to the Replayers and to say that it is not okay to keep the replays of players who are proven to be cheaters transparently active. These accounts have to be closed and replays deleted and I don't understand why it so hard thing to do. Today I saw guy called analog_ in ladder having his replays on Replayers under the nickname AlwaysFirst and having 92 replays!. And he is not the only one because there are plenty of others doing the very same.

Dinko, you have no idea how much work I put into Replayers in the past, on the moment, and in upcoming events and updates.

I never questioned your dedication nor the way you do your tasks. As a matter a fact I think that you are doing the best you can. Still, in my opinion, someone else could do it better.

ReplyDeleteBut we are getting on top of the situation, already banned over 10 hackers accounts in the last month alone. Just trying to keep on top of the situation is the main thing, but obviously our goal is to continuously ban all hackers.
