INTERVIEW WITH TIBCO.SVK

Leader of clan nS, Replayers admin and host of their weekly cup and at the same time host of clan nS tournaments sits down with me and answers on many questions in which he express his opinion of current ROC scene, two major websites their head admins and his relation to them, his own tournaments and the players who are taking part in them such as RapiNG and S_A_I_B_O_T and much much more. Must read!

Dinker: Lets skip the boring introduction part and go straight to the interesting stuff. When did you start to play Warcraft 3?
Tibco: To be honest I don't remember. I used to play several years versus computer AI before I switched to battle.net. Roughly, I've been battle.net user for 2-3 years.

Dinker: The main reason for asking you this is that I haven't seen you on the big scene before. You kind of jumped out of nowhere and instantly started with your own clan and tournaments.
Tibco: Well I am hosting tournaments since 5 months and I really wanted to make good and active clan so I caught the opportunity which came up. All of that of course with the help of my friend Martin who teached me stuff with website and tournaments.

Dinker: Yea, I saw you two doing everything together. But I am curious how did you chose who will be the leader of your clan?
Tibco: Well, I wanted to create the clan and Martin (Str8-Union) helped me with other members to create it and I am very thankful on that.

Dinker: Did you have any other clans before
Tibco: I had clan called BWP (Best Warcraft Players) but I hated the name and nobody really knew about it. I wanted to make clan called WaW (We Are Warcraft) but name was allready taken. So I made BWP and waited for somebody to help me out with the new clan because I wanted better name. And that is how we made clan nS (New Solution).

Dinker: How did you come up with the name?
Tibco: We spent nearly 30 minutes thinking about the tag. Martin and Yanni (Feel-My-Skill) gave me so many names, but I wanted something very special and I finaly agreed on nS.

Dinker: Do you know that some people don't like your clan name because they associate it with national socialism, a movement inspired by Hitler before and during WW2?
Tibco: I don't care, man. My clan is New Solution, not national socialism.

Dinker: So to clarify once and for all. Your clan has no relations to Hitler?
Tibco: No.

Dinker: You wrote that you've been making tournaments for 5 months. How did you come up with idea of doing that?
Tibco: It was Martin who gave me this idea. I seriously didn't know how to make it but he explained me everything and we gave it a try. Now clan nS is the most active clan with tournaments as clan w3 was with its cups.

Dinker: When you started to make tours I noticed that you had support from rocarena.com. They were advertising your tournaments on the first page. Is that true?
Tibco: Not right on start. It happened after few succesful tournaments I hosted. They indeed made some adds for us.

Dinker: Would it be okay to say that you were in good relations with hb.thespecial at that time?
Tibco: No, not good. Rather normal. You see, my fault is that I want to be a friend for everybody. Thats not good.

Dinker: Why do you say that?
Tibco: It is because most of people eventually will take advantage of that friendship.

Dinker: I don't understand. What happened between you and hb.thespecial?
Tibco: I was new with tournament hosting and I was asking for an advice. I believe that giving advice to novices without experience is absolutely normal. Personally, I am doing it everyday and I don't ask for anything in return. However, they (rocarena.com) did ask from me to do something for them.

Dinker: What did they help you with?
Tibco: Back in the time I didn't have a bot from Living-Bots so they gave me their bot on disposal for game hosting. Ghost.Retorno. helped me out to fix some bot related issues. They indeed helped me with few things.

Dinker: Okay but what happened so that friendly link broke?
Tibco: I don't know. They hate me ever since I went on Replayers as admin.

Dinker: Yea, I bet they didn't see that coming.
Tibco: Guess so. They wanted me like rocarena.com user. I used to make some ads for rocarena.

Dinker: I have this guy which shall remain unknown to the rest of the community because he is providing me with some extraordinary info. He often sends me screenshots and few days ago he sent me this one he took from rocarena.com. In that screenshot hb.thespecial calls you "stupid and emotionaly unstable at the same time". Do you have to say something about that?
Tibco: Man, let me tell you something. I don't care what people say about me. There is a lot of them who hate clan nS because Roc hates us.

Dinker: By Roc you are reffering to clan Roc?
Tibco: Yes. Clan Roc. They are calling me names but I seriously don't care. It looks like they are jaelous.

Dinker: Could their jaelousy be reasoned by the success of your tournaments?
Tibco: Not only tournaments. At this moment I have the most active clan on battle.net.

Dinker: Do you think that clan Roc should hold the title "Roc" which somehow makes them real representatives of whole Roc community?
Tibco: No.

Dinker: Why not?
Tibco: Why yes? (makes a smiley)

Dinker: Well the point of interview is that I ask you questions and you answering them. (smiley returned)
Tibco: I know. (makes the last smiley)

Dinker: Okay now seriously. Why not?
Tibco: They have good website but inactive clan?

Dinker: You seriously think that their website belongs to the category of good websites?
Tibco: It is good but I wont visit it anymore. I wont support people who call me names by visiting their website.

Dinker: Sounds fair. Now lets talk about your relation to Replayers. Who initiated that cooperation?
Tibco: As everyone, I am user of Replayers and I download many replays there. I spend days, watching replays and I really enjoy the website. You know the site was fucked up for long, long time. After the final fix I met DeathWing and I asked him if he has enough admins. He answered positive. I offered my help but he replied that he doesn't need new admins at this time and that I might become admin in future. Just two seconds after that he asked me how my tournaments are going and if I am able to make one tournament per week for Replayers. I accepted and he gave me admin on website so I am able to update news about my and Replayers tours. My "prize" is being admin on Replayers.

Dinker: Do you think that giving you admin rights on Replayers relations between these two websites became even worse?
Tibco: I am not sure about that but I am sure that between me and rocarena.com relations are very bad. I don't know all admins on rocarena.com.

Dinker: I will tell you few: hb.thespecial, Ghost.Retorno. and (making a pause to recall). Oh! Wait a second I will copy/ paste the whole list. (ALT+TAB, visits the monster and finds the forums) Here they are: Moderators GhoST, HB, nobodyhere, Vincindaplace, oSg-W4r3Z, S_A_I_B_O_T, FaiRy, peoxnen, RainyMonday, oceandayy, husioN, BossZake.
Tibco: (smiles like never before)

Dinker: Here they are, 12 apostoles. I am just not sure who is the Christ in here. Ghost is first in the line but that doesn't mean anything.
Tibco: Do you know who is the Husion?

Dinker: Have no idea. Could be alter ego of these two Mesias. Okay tell me how rocarena.com admins behave toward you. Are you banned in their clan channel?
Tibco: No but I am banned on their bots ever since I went on Replayers.

Dinker: What would you do to hb.thespecial if you meet him in real life?
Tibco: Nothing, I would let him live.

Dinker: Genrerously from you.
Tibco: I don't need to speak with such guys. I really don't care about that people because they are showing their intelligence with their acts.

Dinker: So how are things going with Replayers?
Tibco: It is great and I have no problems with Replayers. Karsten (DeathWing) is good guy.

Dinker: Yea, he indeed is a great guy. But do you think, at least in theory, that the scenario which happened with you and rocarena.com can happen between you and Replayers in future?
Tibco: No, I don't think so. Karsten is much more mannered. He never flood if we disagree on some matter.

Dinker: Cool but what if something like that eventually happens? What will you do?
Tibco: I will tell him the very same thing I said to Ghost and hb.thespecial.

Dinker: And that is?
Tibco: You dissapointed me. But Karsten will dissapoint me much more cause he doesn't look like someone who is able for something like that.

Dinker: You speak like you expected from rocarena.com admins to behave like they do toward you.
Tibco: They constantly flood me how they helped me and how ungrateful I am and how I went on Replayers. They are spamming and changing subjects so fast that I don't get a chance to write an answer or a possible explanation.

Dinker: Who was flooding you. Ghost or hb.thespecial?
Tibco: Both.

Dinker: In the same time?
Tibco: No no. One day one next day other. You see that my English is not very good and it takes time for me to write a proper sentence.

Dinker: Na, you are good. Lets talk about your tours now. Would you say that competition is your tournaments is high? Or better - are there many good players playing? Or only a few? I am asking this because I saw RapiNG winning something like 25 titles.
Tibco: He won even more.

Dinker: Why is this happening? What is your explanation?
Tibco: Let me give you answer on your first question first. Take a look at this example. S_A_I_B_O_T came in the middle of tournament asking for me to add him. He believes, because he is famous and all. that I will replace him with the guy who came in right on time and checked himself. I treat all players equaly and I don't preffer so called "pro" players.

Dinker: Fair enough. And about RapiNG?
Tibco: I think RapiNG won much games and tournaments because he is the best player in this year. And I am totally sure in that.

Dinker: So you wouldn't say that tournaments like rocarena.com or BMF have better players than nS?
Tibco: I don't follow their tournaments so I don't know. Still. you can't compare nS tournament with them. We are the youngest clan who makes the tournaments. Clan nS was founded on 5th January 2012 and they are much, much older.

Dinker: True but I saw nS having constantly 20 or more players attending in tournaments. Seeing that it is very popular. Still, I don't see so many famous players signing up for your tournaments. Why is that the case?
Tibco: I don't know. It might be because of rocarena.com and my relation with them. Everybody has time to sign up and check in. Some players come late, some players don't show up. It is not something I can change. If a player comes right on time I am happy but if he is late that is not my problem.

Dinker: Can't agree more. Lets talk about the website and your crazy images you post. Who decided how the website will look like and what material will be posted on it?
Tibco: Me and Martin. I like green color with black. And about pictures, well, I found them on google.

Dinker: One day I wanted to sign up for nS cup. I came on website and I saw that map pool. There were maps that you and Martin created. Micro Island and Green Town I believe. Tell me why did you make those maps?
Tibco: I wanted to make some map pool changes. The idea was very good but the maps were not. Maybe in future I will make some better maps.

Dinker: Hopfully and good luck with that. Do you always pick different maps for your tournaments or you have very strict map pool?
Tibco: I did try some variations but now I have the same maps. Added Plunder Isle and Tranquil Paths so everybody can chose what they like to play.

Dinker: What is what all that FFA tours lately?
Tibco: They are every Sunday.

Dinker: Are you lowering RapiNG's chances to win more tournaments in a row?
Tibco: Everybody knnow the results. He will win it definitely.

Dinker: What are the 3 players that didn't play in nS tournament yet and that you would like to see playing it in future?
Tibco: Dinker, DeathWing and RainyMonday

Dinker: Who is your biggest inspiration for making these events and leading such and active clan?
Tibco: My enemies.

Dinker: ROC community would be better without _ _ _ _. Finish the sentence.
Tibco: (smiles) There are 4 words so you wanna hear ADAM

Dinker: (smiles back) No I just wanted to make a free space. No intention.
Tibco: Flooders is my answer.

Dinker: Do they often flood you and who do you think that stands behind that?
Tibco: Not very often. I believe that jaelous people are flooding me.

Dinker: Are you implying that rocarena.com admins have put their fingers in this?
Tibco: I suspect, yes. Just want to send them a message that they make me stronger. When I see that somebody hates me because I make good job I try even harder to do a better job.

Dinker: Any last words because it is time to end this great chat?
