CHEER UP

Today I saw SWGP's post on Replayers in which he wrote a goodbye to Replayers and his voluntary work there because some conflicts among the website staff created the pressure he couldn't handle anymore. This post reminded me of El Tonto's goobye post that he made on trollarena few months ago. Why are these posts so emotional and suicidal? Why do people write them like that? I'll try to answer these questions.

Because I am not a fan of hearthbreaking posts on main page of the biggest ROC portal there is and because I believe that there is Facebook and other dummy websites on which you can put your dummy statuses and posts, I decided  to write this article.

I hope you didn't think that I wrote "suicidal" because I believe that they will blow their head with daddy's gun after they posted their goodbye message.No. However, they are suicidal because these goodbye messages are meant to put an end of their community existence, or the end of a role by which they were recognized by other community members. There is a simple answer on why are these messages so emotional and why the tone is so depressive and sad. 

People who don't have much experience in this community and who get involved in any mini projects often make same mistakes when it comes to their relation with the community as a whole. They involve their ego which hungers for love and recognition in the community that never gives love nor recognition unless it benefits it in some pervert way. When they involve they ego in such way and when they get what they usually get, leg in the butt, they can't understand why that happened because they did, as they strongly believe, much more than anyone before them and that their efforts were bigger than anyone else.

How come nobody sees that and nobody praises them because of the things they've done? They think like this because they are deluded that their community role is big as they believe it is and that without them nothing will be the same. 

Truth is that most of the community roles that some people possess today are easy replaceable. Everyone is able to host tournament today, everyone is able to rent a bot, everyone is able to make a league. It is not a big deal today when every path has been cleared by people like me who 6-7 years ago started to create these things for the very first time. Now everyone who can spare 2-3 hours of free time just has to look at W3CUP page, copy paste the rules, check the Replayers to see how a league is been made and suddenly he is irreplaceable even host. It doesn't go like that. You can see that it doesn't go like that on many examples.

When I realized, year and a half ago, that at least 5 other personas were hosting the tournaments the same way I hosted W3CUP and they copy/pasted everything that took me time to think how is supposed to be done and years to practice it without fancy bots, with new maps and the highest amount of skilled players that ever played any tournaments, I realized that I don't want to do it anymore. It is like, you are there in KeKo for 4-5 years and you believe that it is your channel. Then after 5 years you get constantly spammed by crazy load of trollarena and hacking clan bots and you decide to leave it for good. That's how I left tournament hosting. It just didn't feel good to compete in a pervert way that these wannabes were initiating. So I stepped back and again I started doing what nobody else was able to do before me. And it feels good.

So, all you depressed, deluded and confused dudes, stop acting like that. If you are irreplaceable like you claim you are, then nobody can replace you. Everyone will cry for you and nothing will be the same. But if that doesn't happen, I will be truly sorry for you because you will get the real picture of yourself.
