IN TROLLS CLAWS

Didn't check trollarena for months. But, yesterday I've got an interesting email from one of the blog followers who visits the beast on regular basis. He wanted me to share this info with you who are not aware of the actions that trolls are taking against our community and how are they backstabbing the heart of it - Replayers.

The following chat is from trollarena replay commentary in which one of the mini trolls informed troll hb.thespecial about Replayers "stealing" trollarena top replay. In truth, this game was played and posted by RapinG on Replayers, by his own will. He obviously wanted to share his game with the widest ROC audience. In the other hand troll hb.thespecial who observes aprox. 10 000 games a year, saved this game upon observing it, and without RapinG's permission, uploaded it as a top replay in his little lair.

That is all legit however. What disturbs is the mental state of the trolls and their minions. Check out the tone they are using when talking to people who are desperately trying to cure them with the words of wisdom and peace.

It's not the first time when they get our top replay posted on their site in some "magic" way. It's trully pathetic and we've never taken anything from their site ourselves.

That website is dying badly so they do whatever it takes to keep its leftovers "alive".

Thanks for your notification though. It's good to know that community is aware of some pathetic acts.

Alright, can't help myself but to respond to this.

Raping uploaded the replay on roc.replayers.com and we just treat it like each and every replay that gets uploaded in our approve replay section. There is no 'magic' attached to that, just the way it goes.

We've talked this over before Adam, on msn, remember? We didn't ask / force T2 to upload the game. He did it out of himself. 

The game got treated, like I just mentioned, like any other game and the approvers gave it the mark of a TOP replay. Thats all that happens there. No need for people to start raging on something that has already been talked over and agreed upon from both sides. Don't you agree?

I wonder why T2, which trully disliked the game and own gameplay in it (we talked after its ending), would post it as Top a week after the match anywhere, especially when it had been already approved as Top here.

Due to the disturbing history with one of your admins downloading and posting our top replays on your website and some other mysterious acts, I found RoCK- notification worth of comment from my side.

If you had put a lot of efford into hosting tournaments yourself, you would have understood why I don't find it fair when other website takes credit for my work.

I think it's undoubtedly controversial, so it meets some criticism - this time it was RoCK, previous time it was RainyMonday, next time it might be someone else. 

I wouldn't describe such comments as "acts of rage" though.

What happened to your whole infamous policy devaluing our entire work here? Now you compare my tours to WCG?

TFT tours are mostly LAN ones like WCG, hosts credit is based on fans travelling to host locations, so why would they care about what happens with their replays?

RoC tours are hosted only on Battle Net, there is no "host location", so credit is based mostly on replays. That's why I see no reason why would anyone else get it instead, especially when it's a group of people slandering us since more than a year.

I guess it's a barely comprehensible matter for people, who have never done anything productive in RoC though.

Accusing us of hacking their website multiple times, when in fact GhoST even told Scythe (headadmin of rp.com if I am not wrong) how to fix their security issues to avoid problems in future, deleting newsposts, maphacking, etc.

also as far as i can remember, regardless of my own case -cause i've always more or less shown you how much i despise your train of thoughts-, replayers has always been ridiculously nice to rocarena, not causing polemics and even putting up a link to the website on main page.

truth is i don't know anyone (except maybe ghost, yourself and a limited bunch of fans) who has stopped consulting replayers and settled for rocarena exclusively. and i think you know that too. 

when they made me approver on replayers my first idea was to bury the axe and try to peace things out with you -unbelievable enough-, i even talked about this in staff chat and wondered if you would accept to settle for tournaments -which you're better at- and leave the replays to replayers -which they're better at, not to mention the incredibly superior ergonomy of the website-.

warez told me the exact same when i talked to him on msn a week ago, we all want the same thing for the game : true revival. working together would be the only way to achieve that and, bumelant, as far as i'm concerned, i'm afraid you're the one not trying.

Hey, I've hosted 14 leagues, 40 cups, clan wars and delivered dozens of top replays with descriptions.

What have you done?

I mean, he hosted 14 leagues 40 cups give the man some recognition and stop treating like like an egomanic and troll. Seriously, don't you know that ever since trollarena was created by El Tonto's magical programming skills, troll hb.thespecial didn't have a free weekend nor he made any new social connections because he has leagues and tours to host. Such a great sacrifice demands respect! Or decent medical treatment.

And about GhoST - the fact that he has entered rp.com admin section ONCE and left some semi-serious newspost as a brag act doesn't make him a hacker destroying the website.

In the end he has confessed everything a few days later to rp.com admins and helped with fixing security issues, so his actions were more positive than negative.

the point isn't to 'get all the credit' but to share credit. i'm pretty sure you wouldn't have the guts and stupidity to say that replayers' staff (whose balls you have sucked enough, may i remind) is unable to help in organizing tours and to increase cash prizes.

you talk like you're at war. i might b a little vain but i've never truely hated anyone on this game or considered anything to be entirely serious, hence my still calling war3 a GAME. what you're doing right now is beyond commonsense and reaches summits in sheer nerditude.

anyway my good man, replayers could advertise for you, you could advertise for replayers, work hand in hand, put the names together and make the game better. this cooperation would profit you way more than it would profit replayers, reason being you're isolated and in clear minority, you wanna act like you're a party leader meh? at least try to do it well.

Does this community really need to be split into two camps? Think there are so few players left these days that we should try and stick together rather then throwing mud at each other over small matters like this.

Since it's seems to be an issue over recognition / credits to tourhosts wouldn't a simple solution be that uploaders include information concerning replays as they are uploaded?

In the end I do find this matter to be a bit juvenile and over the top serious. I know there are people who commit loads of their personal time to keep sites and tours like this going. And I hope this comment wont be interpreted as impious to any of you. I think I'm right in saying that all players are grateful for your work, and respect you for it.

Just try and keep it all on a level that doesn't exceed reason and logic.

The "issue" of splitting the community into two websites was clearly talked at the start of our project.

Adam had in mind founding a new roc website with some objetives:

- Give to the community the events that replayers doesn't give.

- Renew the image of the "traditional" roc website, making it fair, with freedom and free-language speaker.

Almost noone gave us credit at the start of our project but look at us now. We have at least 5x of visitors than when we started. 

The first question i may ask is, why do we have those visitors?

The answer is easy and simple: replayers hasn't been working for all this time, it just has been in an hibernation mode and this became into the massive switch of people from one website to the other one.

So, taking this evidential fact i should may ask another question too, why should we colaborate with you? We are way better than dead w3roc.com and we can survive despite off replayers will still have its "traditional" visitors because of the famous name from old times.

Now lets focus on you and replayers staff.

You say that Adam has sucked some balls from that staff. Do i have to remind u whats your directly connection to rp staff? Your friend richy it seems. I would like to know how many times you have asked to be member of replayers staff and it has been denied or avoided. Now that rp staff needs more ppl because of the lack of activity, maybe take looney could be a great idea since he is one of the most radical user of battle net. Maybe he can feed the fire in drama, who knows...

Im going to remember u now what you did when i entered in replayers: you asked me to know the complete version of what i did. I confesed since i think it wasnt an evil act (still we dont know who from rp staff deleted all newsposts) and u acted like u were an angel (like here, coincidence?).

But what happened when i finished and u knew all the story? You started to insult and to say bullshit, changing the facts of the story when i told u it completely and u knew 0 before. I think you are very similar to dinko in this aspect.

Being the only person here to be on staff with HB when he was on Replayers I can say that it was much more active. HB was hosting turny's and doing descriptions for replays, which weren't very good at the time but he was learning. Zen kicked HB out because both their egos were clashing, but Zen was in the fault. 

Ever since HB's dismissal, which was around when I left also, Replayers went to shit. They've had just a couple tournaments (I wouldn't even call half of them tournaments) -- such as FundayMonday's and now this Lone Wolf. Before those 2 events was some stupid RCL turny with a prize of $400 divided among I believe 4-5 people. The turny was so horribly put together and the best 4-5 players teamed up and won with ease -- good way to waste $400.

Replayers "replays" from the common folk is nothing to brag about having a better replay system, those replays get maybe 2 comments and 5 downloads. The only games people care about are Top Replays (which 3 out of the current tops are from Rocarena turny's) or ROTW's and Ganz replays.

Why in the world would HB, who I will agree loves his 15 minutes of fame, go back to a website or merge with one that kicked him out? Dinkus, Zen spread false info, which you can read on dinker.tk.

One of those USA wannabes who realized on time that being a troll on Replayers is nothing new and doesn't get him much attention. So he started to troll Replayers from trollarena. Being a USA wannabe must be ugly and annoying but licking trolls asses every day is just unbeatable disgusting.
