A PUZZLE

There are dozens of theories about recent attacks on Replayers and Rocarena. While Replayers is still heavily damanged, Rocarena managed to make full recover of their data loss. Who did it? Lets try to solve this hard puzzle together.

Most of you probably expected from me to write an article the very same day when incident happened. However, I decided to wait a bit because I believed that my article and what I would write in it, would affect the whole situation.

My decision to wait and then to talk to various people proved out to be good choice. Well, not good enough to help Replayers to come back on its feet again, but good for this article which might help the community to figure out its own way of interpreting things that happened. 

Speaking with various people I came across many theories about the incident. In this article I will present  all these theories to you, hoping that it may help you to figure out, on your own without me being there to decide for your, what happened. 

PERSON'S A THEORY - SWGP & HACKING MATES

There are many ego maniacs in our community. Some of them are finding boosts for their ego in playing zone, some are finding it in organisation zone. One of those is SWGP who got kicked out Replayers staff team, got into argues with almost every respectable person in our community and finally opened website for hackers as his final revenge to the community that never embraced him for the stuff he did.

SWGP is mad and frustrated. He hangs out with all known maphackers and spammers and talk with them all the time. He made a partnership with them and strong plan. He will use the current situation and argue between Toxigrinta and DeathWing so the community would suspect on Toxigrinta being the guilty one for the attack and not him. 

They will, hack into Replayers database with SQL injection and then manually guess the password from one of Replayers users who is also and admin on Rocarena. They will delete all news content from Replayers except new that SWGP made, so community remembers that he was there and that only his presence and things he did matter.

Once they manually crack the password of user that is member of Replayers and also and admin on Rocarena, they will, because they suspect that the passwords that the user have on two sites are same, go on his admin account on Rocarena and do the same they did to Replayers. 

Hacking Replayers is revenge for SWGP, hacking Rocarena is a bonus and the final result is to get more people on SWGP's website.

PERSON'S B THEORY - TOXI & ROCARENA

Just a day before Replayers was attacked, user and head admin got into arguement in the news post that was made with an intention to introduce new people to Replayers staff. User called Toxi (aka Toxigrinta), got his comment deleted by head admin DeathWing and then went mad. He started to threat DeathWing that he is still able to take the website down and to delete its content like he did it few years ago. That threat was supposed to make DeathWing allow Toxigrinta to start all over on Replayers, putting black past behind. However, DeathWing decided to stay strong on his decision not to let Toxigrinta come back on the site he once destroyed, naming dozens of reasons for that. 

Day after that, Replayers got attacked. Toxigrinta did it to revenge for the way he was treated by Replayers and by DeathWing.

After he attacked Replayers, Toxigrinta comes into clan Roc which is the official channel of Rocarena and tells his friends who own Rocarena - Adam and Ghost what he did. They have mixed feelings about it. Firstly they like what they hear because they would love to see Replayers going down, but second, they wouldn't like to be blamed for it. However, they fully support Toxigrinta because he is their friend and he made a nice donation to the site so they can't just leave him alone in this mess. Now they think how to make the best out of this situation.

Three of them, Toxigrinta, Adam and Ghost decide to lock the doors of the dark room and not to tell anyone from Rocarena staff what they are about to do. They decide to fake attack on their website and to use one of their staff members - W4R3z as a victim. Adam or Ghost would then change W4R3z account's password, delete some content from their own website and then tell to W4R3z and the others that they have been attacked by the same person who attacked Replayers. There wouldn't be the problem about restoring data on Rocarena because Ghost would made a full back up just before the fake attack.

To convince the community that someone else than Toxigrinta hacked Replayers and then hacked Rocarena, Adam pulls the attackers IP from his database and shows it in the presence of other players. The IP he shows that the attacker comes from Germany, location Bayern. 

Now the full suspicion is on the person that community hates the most - SWGP and his hacking companions.  Whole suspicion is on SWGP because the news that have been left on frontpage are showing his latest action at the time where he was still in Replayers staff. This clears Toxigrinta's name in the incident and puts Rocarena in the same situation as Replayers.

PERSONS'S C THEORY - ONE OF THE SPAMMERS

The whole BNET is being under siege for the past year or so. The amount of bot stations has rapidly increased because every scumbag knows how to button click a program that ruins public and private channels and with that the whole community routine on official server. Spammers decided to move for one step higher. They decided to attack two most popular ROC websites and to take their databases down. They do this because they love to destroy things and because they hate the community that will never accept them.

PERSON'S D THEORY - RANDOM EVIL GUY

There are many people who could have done this. Someone faked Toxigrinta's name and made account Toxi only to get in argue with DeathWing and to put suspicion on Toxigrinta for the things that will happen. Then, the evil guy with evil plan would hack into Replayers, putting all suspicion on Toxigrinta and with that on Rocarena.

Then, evil guy would manually get W4r3z account password from Replayers, log on Rocarena and do the same thing only to put suspicion on Rocarena doing this to itself to hide their dirty actions toward Replayers. 

The intention of the evil guy is to make chaos and hate between two websites and to divide the community even more.

PERSON'S E THEORY - W4R3Z & TOXIGRINTA

It is W4r3Z and Toxigrinta. They are both French. Toxigrinta hacked Replayers and then his buddy W4r3z used his admin account on Rocarena to hack it because with time he started to dislike Adam and Ghost duo. he faked his IP to be from Germany so Rocarena's super admins would suspect that his was done by SWGP or someone from his crew.

PERSON'S F THEORY - SECRET ADMIN

Ever since Replayers was attacked like this for the first time, getting news, replays and comments deleted, bad things are happening. It could be that Toxigrinta made, back at the time when he hacked into Replayers database with Fredo, a secret admin account that he uses from time to time. Perhaps he made it, perhaps someone else made it. But there could be a secret admin account on Replayers that other admins are unaware of and that is doing all the harm to Replayers.
