YOU ARE NOT BANNED GUYS

Several guys tried to observe the games that me and RapiNG were playing today. Right after they would join the game lobby, bot would kick them and not because they are banned or anything like that, but because they don't have the map. RS maps download on rocstars.bot was restricted because it was causing too much traffic. I already said that because of loading screen quality each map is around 5mbs heavy. Letting every single player to download it from the bot would get 1gb in a day. However, whole map pack that you can download is only 7mbs heavy. It takes less then a minute. You can download full mappack from blog (upper left corner) or from Replayers frontpage (thanks Chico). Oh yea, from now on, don't ask me if I banned you on rocstars.bot. I won't reply because I just wrote that I didn't.

NOOB ABUSERS PT 1

BOTS ISSUE

Strange stuff happening today with hosting bots. They have been getting socket error and disconnecting from the server and then coming back online after 600 seconds, which is default time that bot waits to reconnect. I've contacted blog's partner and biggest bot hosting service - Living-Bots, and man in charge told me that this situation is happening only on European server while the bots located on other serves are working without a problem.

RSDM 5TH ROUND

Right after beating new challenger in 4th round, hell_calls went for the 5th round match against his country man. MisterylanD says this just wasn't his week, but has no deeper worries because there are a lot of matches in front of him. In 6th round, hell_calls goes for the crown. His words, not mine.

ROC SAYS

Thanks to the guy who was there for Replayers when the site was going through the toughest phases in the past, who takes care of it even today, and all of that behind the curtains, never asking for extra community treatment, we are now able to upload RS replays to Replayers because he was there to help out once again. RSDM KICKED OFF

Today we had the first 3 rounds of RSDM where two players got invited in the beginning and after their clash was over new challenger was introduced. You can see all info about this first season under "RSDM" tab in the thread called Season #1. More details about the event itself inside the post.

DINKER VS KEKO NOOBS

There has always been crazy amount of newbies sitting in the most popular public channel in ROC community - KEKO. Starting from today, I will be owning some of those lucky newbies when I get a chance. Replays will be posted on Replayers and I will also give short brief of the games and situations before and after the games. You can find all info in "My corner" tab in the thread called KEKO noobs.

ROCSTARS DEATHMATCH - RSDM

With the release of Rocstars final version  I think that most common thing to do is to make an event that will present the maps in the best way. So I was thinking what kind of event would fit best and I came to decision to make a mix of KOTH (King of the Hill) and a regular KO (knockout) tournament. And here it is - RSDM! After several months of creation process, numerous games and thousands fixed bugs I am proud to present you the final version of RS Maps. Each map is 5 mbs heavy because of the high quality loading screen which was done by MFHELL who was an amazing support and help for the whole time I was editing the maps and without who the maps wouldn't look like they look now and CUBORG who came up with amazing backround for the loading screen. Also, I have to thank Living-Bots company and its owner for an amazing support and services and everything they did for the sake of RS maps. Read the README.txt if you have any problems extracting the maps in the right folder.

ONE NIGHT IN 2005

Played a showmatch against my mate HLA that you will get a chance to see on Replayers. These games made me remember how great times we spent in  2005, that year when we were playing every single day against tons of great players.

BACK ON THE TRACK

Just a short post to give credit to CUBORG who is putting enormous efforts to repost the data that was lost/ deleted during the recent hackers attack. CUBORG's actions should inspire the rest of the community to post their replays and share their words on the oldest and the most loved ROC website. History has proved that no matter how strong bad guys strike, Replayers always comes back on its feet.
