INFO ABOUT THE LIST

Today I decided to sit down with patience and will in order to make my big list of those who I consider to be legends of this game. And not only the game but also the creators of everything we take for granted today. The coolest thing is that I didn't put myself inside.

If you are lazy and hate reading books and articles, I advise you to change. Nobody likes people who have no habit to read because they are uneducated, stupid pricks without ideas. Don't be stupid prick and read. Start from the Legends and their marks part #1 and then come here to read this big list which will be my first and last tribute to the best ones.

Please, do not scroll down through the list searching for your own name. I know some of you will do this simply because I am aware what is the percentage of ego maniacs in our community.

Take a calm, good read and learn something new. Bare in mind that I won't put in this list everyone who made 20/0 SOLO stats, made 1000/0 AT with abuse ally or had/ has the ability to get his DH on level six withing 5 minutes of play. No, I wont put copies nor those who reached to be "famous" in late January of 2012. My primary focus will be pioneers, people who did stuff others implemented in their everyday gaming culture. Masterminds who indeed had/ have the style and must be respected.

This list will not be made from A-Z. I cannot put these names in perfect order simply because this is not a phone book and I am not soldier's son. Also, first mentioned and last mentioned have the very same place in my little history. Some of them achieved more, some of them were indeed better than the others but I will not class everyone by giving him some imaginary number like 1 or 19. We all have our favorite stories and heroes and I will respect that.

The most important thing is that I will not put all names in one post simply because I want to write something about each one of them and that wall of text wouldn't be pleasant for everyone who wants to read it. That is why I am going to reveal 5-6 names with each new post.

pumppa, hla, lno, han, saibot (also, all great random players)
ojune, mixtape, ben, toxi, etc. (also, all top players of their own race)
of course i forgot some names but these are the names that come to my mind when i think of w3's legends.
legends of impact: zen, dinko, hb, deathwing, whole replayers staff from then to now, etc.

  3. Legends does not simply stand for the past few years regular players whose skill level was/is very consistent. But players were indeed influential features which brought warcraft III to the top at a very specific time. When i come to think about it I wouldnt name random people that just stick with reign of chaos for so long and claim to be good at it. To my mind, people like Eyeofthedruid, or Heman, for instance could be part of the list.
